PARADIIISE is my safe place

PARADIIISE is everything that I have dreamt of

The very purpose of my life

But

Destruction is coming

Distort it

Reprogram it

Establish, cut, edit, and modify it all over.

PARADIIISE is the depiction of an ever-changing imaginary utopian world. It is simply our dreams, ambitions, and goals. We all have an idea of what we want. We put it in a world in our heads. Unexpected things may happen, and we may be in pain and shatter into pieces. PARADIIISE will crumble. Nothing is the same. Everything changes! A story about impermanence in an abstract, poetic, psychedelic form of an audiovisual experience.

The project started with Wang Xoo’s thesis 'Everything Changes'. With the audio production from Marie Lou, and Wang Xoo on the visuals. They played, explored, pushed boundaries, and influenced each other's practice, between audio and visual. PARADIIISE is the outcome of that experimental and ever-changing collaboration.
